It is very very useful to create a user account password reset disk for user account on Windows Vista incase you forget your user account password.
Creating the user account password reset disk is as easy as ABC but could save you a lot in future.
To do this you will need a removable media, such as floppy disk, USB drive, SD memory card etc;
Insert or plug in your removable media and go to the user accounts from control panel or just type user accounts on the start menu search and click on it from the result or click on your user account logo from the start menu.
Now click on the Create a password reset disk from the left pane.
Then follow the simple instructions:
Read and click next to continue....

Read and Select the removable media you want to use from the drop down if it's not already selected.

Read and enter your user account password and click next.

Click next and finish when it's complete....

Now you will be able to see a file named userkey.psw in the removable media you used during the creating of the reset password. The file should be just 1.50Kb in size.

Resetting your user account password:
You can now use this removable media to reset your user account password anytime you forget your password.
when you forget your password and type a wrong one you will see the following message. "The user name or password is incorrect"

click ok or hit enter.....You will now get back to the login screen, but with a message that say "reset password"

At this point if you want to reset your password, Just insert or plug in the removable media where your password resetting file is saved. Click the Reset Password and follow the simple instruction to reset your password in a minute.
Note: No matter how many times you reset your password, you can still use the same disk...no need to create another one.
