Adjusting The Size of The Quick Launch Toolbar Item Display Area And adding More Items To It On Vista

9/21/2008 | putersandnet.com

Vista Quick Launch

The name Quick Launch Toolbar already explained it all for those who doesn't know what is it....Meaning you can launch a program quickly from the Quick Launch by just one clicking at the program you want to launch, It is located on the taskbar and it is an easy way to open programs.

By default only 3 programs icons are displayed openly if you have enabled the quick launch feature, Thought you can click the double arrow on the Quick launch Toolbar to see the rest of the programs on it.

Adjust the display area:

You can increase or decrease the area, first right clicking on empty space on the Taskbar and unlock the taskbar.

Now hover over at the right edge of the quick launch bar, you will now see the left and right arrow left click and hold down your mouse... drag it to the right to increase or left to decrease the space area. Relock the taskbar when done.

Adding more program:

You can simple click on the program icon and drag and drop it in the quick launch toolbar or right click on the program icon and choose Add To quick launch. (Note: add to quick launch doesn't show for all programs icon when you right click)
