Disable The Recently Opened Items

This is good if you are using a shared computer and/or you don't want anyone to see your recently opened/used items

recently used or open files and programs

To disable the recently opened files and/or programs

Right click on Taskbar or on vista start menu icon and select properties.

Under the start menu tab under privacy, uncheck the box next to the one you want to disable

start menu properties

Click ok.
