Download Video From Youtube And Other Sites

6/12/2008 | putersandnet.com

Allow me to show you two simple and easy easy methods of downloading video from YouTube and from other websites

I am aware of bunch of programs on the internet that can be used to download video from YouTube, Am not saying there're not good or doesn't work.

I recommend this two methods to anyone.

Method 1: To download video from YouTube only!

This one is very simple, Just add the word KISS on a YouTube video URL link and hit enter from your keyboard.

Example: if the original YouTube video URL link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwYuCyEYT8I  make it http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=zwYuCyEYT8I it will now take you to a page where you'll be able to download this video.

From that page scroll down a bit and click the download button and save the file as .FLV (e.g. myvideo.flv)

Method 2: Download from YouTube and other sites.

You can download video from you tube and other websites if you have the latest version of Real Player (version 11) installed on your computer.

You will be able to see this real player download button image when you hover over a video on YouTube or other websites with video on it depending on your setting. Click the "Download this video" button to start downloading it (Real Player will inform you if the file is not downloadable or if there's any error) And by default the videos will be saved in a folder called "RealPlayer Downloads" in your "videos" or "my videos" folder.

Incase you don't see the "Download this video" button on a video, open Real Player and check whether this feature is enabled. From there you can also change the download location.

To do this click on Tools then Preferences >>> click on the "Download & Recording" Tab under Category. (see image below)
