Can't view some website correctly when Kaspersky Firewall is activated?

9/5/2008 | putersandnet.com | by Casmir

First of all let me tell you that Kaspersky is currently the best security and anti virus software.

If you are using or have used  Kaspersky Internet Security Suite with the Firewall feature activated, You probably have noticed this.

What i am talking about is the Kaspersky Firewall, When it's activated some websites will not work properly unless you uncheck the check box on Enable Anti-Banner under Publicity Banner Blocking. Actually it's not a big deal or a problem,Though it might look like a problem if you don't know the cause of some pages not working properly. It is just a high security from the firewall default setting which is very easy to change.

For example: This is how statcounter.com suppose to look.

statcounter

This is how it looks when the Anti-Banner is enabled. and none of the links were working.

So if you are using Kaspersky internet security suite and are not viewing some website correctly on your browser,(Note: Your browser or computer setting could be the cause of it though!)

see if the firewall setting is the cause, check if the firewall is activated, Open kaspersky and click firewall under protections then click configure, uncheck the check box on Enable Anti-Banner under Publicity Banner Blocking.

But if you must leave the box checked, you might wanna click Settings... and Enter the sites you want to block in the Black list, the sites you want to view correctly in the white list.

That's all......

Visit Kaspersky site HERE It's good for your computer.
